I have three pieces included in visual Arts Brampton’s members’ exhibit in the atrium at Brampton City Hall. The show will continue until the end of the month

I have 3 paintings on exhibit at Artway in Shopper’s world in Brampton as part of Visual Arts Brampton’s Brushes With Success. The exhibit runs for the entire month of October. 

My solo exhibit begins today and runs until Aug. 29 at Brampton City Hall in the atrium. Reflections is an exhibit which explores reflections either figuratively or literally, and in some cases, both.  Some of the pieces are of objects which cast a reflection of itself, others explore the way light is reflected by an object, while others still, incorporate both concepts.  The path of this exploration in some cases lead to a deeper investigation of reflection as a concept asking the viewer to reflect on the idea put forth.

A variety of media was used to further the exploration in order to resolve how physical reflection would be achieved from one medium to another.  This gave me the freedom to discover new ways of conveying the notion of what an object might look like when it is reflected on a surface which is sometimes in motion, or fraught with inclusions. 

I am now an exhibiting member of the Wellington Artists’ Gallery in Fergus Ontario.  All work exhibited there is for sale. For more information go to www.wellingtonartistsgallery.ca

I will have 2 pieces on exhibit at Carabram in the Canada pavilion with the Visual Arts Brampton traveling floral art show.

I will be painting along with artist Debra Ali in front of Brampton City Hall on Saturday June 18 2011 as part of the festivities kicking off the Farmers Market.  Everyone is invited to watch and/or ask questions regarding our exhibits and the classes we teach at Visual Arts Brampton.
